# Insurance claims liability

**Use case:** This tool can derive liability in motor insurance claims and is designed for use at First Notification of Loss (FNoL).

**End-user:** Insurance contact centre staff.

**Solution:** Rainbird was integrated with a custom web application used by the contact centre staff. When questions were asked by Rainbird, the possible answers would be rendered as images in the front-end to deliver an optimal user experience.

**Expertise:** Replicates the decision making made by liability claims handlers and loss adjustors.

**Data:** Data is stored in the Rainbird knowledge map, with any additional case-specific data being provided by the end user at runtime.
